The 2012 Lamborghini Aventador J officially unveiled to the world at the at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
It is a radically open automobile – exterior and interior meld into each other in an attempt to obtain a
two-seat sport-bike effect.
No climate control.
Forget the infotainment/ navigation system.
The designers and engineers in Sant’Agata Bolognese have not only dispensed entirely with the roof, but also with the front windshield.
It uses a new type of carbon fiber fabric called “Carbonskin” made of woven carbon fibers soaked with a very special epoxy resin that stabilise the fiber structure and keeps the material soft.
It gets the 6.5 liter V12 with 700hp power rating and the same 1,575kg dry weight as the Lamborghini Aventador.
The J Roadster you see here is for sale. How many more will be produced? None. It's a one-off, one-run deal, and put away your pocketbooks – it's already been sold for a cool 2.1 million euros.
